The Woodbury County Communications Center provides the following services:

Enhanced 911services to all citizens in Woodbury County, Iowa, North Sioux City, South Dakota and Dakota Dunes, South Dakota.
3 Radio communications and computer aided dispatch to 11 law enforcement agencies.
3 Radio/paging communications and computer dispatch to 19 fire and EMS agencies.
3 Monitors fire, intrusion and hold-up alarms for federal, state, and local public buildings.
3 Monitors the Perry Creek Flood Control System.
3 Activates and monitors the Sioux City, North Sioux City, Oto and Browns Lake outdoor warning sirens.
3 Is a notification point for severe weather activity.
3 Monitors the Sioux City Police global positioning system.

The Woodbury County Communications Center is located in Sioux City, Iowa and serves all of Woodbury County, Iowa. We also provide services to North Sioux City and Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. The Woodbury County Communications Center consists of a staff of 22 full time and 3 part time Communications Operators, an Operations Supervisor and Communications Director.
